I am currently paying $1600+ each week out-of-pocket for medication I must have to survive . I am completely disabled due to an autoimmune disease and a nuerological disorder. I use medication that requires an 'exemption' to be covered. Medco hasn't even made a judgement on my case for over 1 month. They keep claiming they have not recieved a fax from my Dr's office. ( My Dr's office has faxed + 5 times, the Dr personnally faxed the last one) This is behavior (lthey trash scripts and faxes that require reviews so they can make quotas) is one they have been repeatedly taken to court for by both the federal government and several states. In addition they have committed many other crimes. They have racked up millions in fines but they make billions in profit. Just search for medco and lawsuit and see how many hits you get. Within a week or two I will have to be hospitalized because I will run out of money to pay for my meds. We must find some way to convince our employers not to do business with these people. They keep costs down through pain, suffering, hardship and killing their sickest clients. I have seen many, many similar stories; like comments from cancer patients who must have meds on a time schedule and they can't get them. Please pray for me and these others. And please - speak up.
