Customer Review - Medco

AVOID AT ALL COST!

Possibly the worst company I have ever dealt with. I unfortunately have Medco insurance and am forced to use their awful excuse of a mail order prescription service. There have been numerous times Ive placed orders with them and told my orders would ship, only after anxiously waiting for them to arrive be told that my doctor needed to give authorization. Heaven forbid they call me and tell me. No, I have to call them days later and ask where my meds are. My doctor wrote the prescription already and they are telling me my doctor needs to call them by phone and explain to them why I need the prescription. Dave Snow, the CEO of medco goes around telling people that the healthcare system is inefficient and costly yet his own company puts all these demands on doctors who have to take extra time out of their day to explain their area of expertise to to some person in a call center making 11 dollars and hour. I'm sick of going without my meds! If it weren't for the fact my employer forces us to use Medco I would tell them to shove it! and take my business else where. Stay away from these idiots at all cost!
