Customer Review - Humana

RIPOFF

I contacted Humana by phone to cancel my husband's insurance with them because I had added him onto my work insurance & actually had not used them for nearly a year but had waited until November to cancel during their period for cancellation. The lady on the phone told me she would cancel him but it would take 2-3 months for the payments to stop coming out of his check. I said that was fine if that was what it takes. The deductions did stop in a couple of months but 6 months later they send me a bill for 6 months premiums. I called them & reminded them of our previous phone call but was told it should have been canceled in writing which we were not told. Now they have turned it over to a collection agency. What do you do besides pay them even though it is a ripoff!!
