Humana's breach of contract

I have called humana twenty-two times about claims submitted for a single doctor. I have tried my best to be patient, and I understand that all companys make mistakes. However, I have called Humana twenty-two times regarding claims sent in by one doctor. Claims have been submitted and resubmitted over eighty times for less than thirty appointments with the same doctor. My doctor has spent over two hours trying to get humana to reimburss me to no avail. For one claim, it took Humana eighteen months to send me a check. I have continually asked Humana if there was a way to correct this problem. I was first told that for some reason, the claims department was having trouble noticing that I had paid "in full" and that the check was to be sent to the patient (me). They suggested that in addition to filling out the form correctly, my doctor should hand write in big letters " member has paid in full." THis did not take care of the problem. Once again, I called Humana. This time the solution I was given was to write " member has paid in full" in larger letters, and to underline the words. What are they thinking? I was issued a check from Humana which I immedietlly deposited in my bank account. A week later, I received a letter from my bank telling me that the check was no longer valid, and I owed them a ten dollar fee. I promise I am telling the truth, and if anyone would like to see my records of coorospondence with Humana, I urge you to email me at numnum.numnum@hotmail.com. I truly hope this review will help people to find an insurance company besides Humana. The only good thing about this mess is that I hope to inform other people to not go down the same road I hav.e
