Customer Review - Hartford

Make all communication in writing, and dont believe your agent. He is taught to sell policies not understand them

Our agent told us "Hired non owned" insurance would cover our out of town sales trips when renting cars. He said we would save $$ on expensive rental car insurance coverages and would not have to rely on our salesman's personal insurance coverages (or lack thereof). Agent said that is exactly what "Hired non-owned" insurance is. So we have been paying premiums for 5 years.
First accident, and Hartford wants to be secondary to the drivers personal insurance. This is not what we were sold!
