They refused to pay even though their insured is at faultThey spent five weeks "investigating" my claim after I was rear-ended, then told me to file with my own insurance. They told me they would pick up my car from the towing service, but did nothing until the towing service threatened to sell my car for scrap. Never return phone calls. continued... |

Hartford Insurance a CHEAP ASSI was rear ended by a person who was insured by Hartford. They took a long time to get an adjuster out to look over my car. On top of that, they would not want to pay more than 4 days worth of car rentals (maximum is $20 per day) although the body shop needed more than 4. This company try to nickel continued... |

Cancellation fee rip-offI have been with Hartford for 10 years of auto ins. I have never made a claim. Upon getting other quotes I found I could save over 400$ per year so I cancelled with Hartford. They are charging me 10% of my premium as a "cancellation fee". No where is this charge explained in the handbook they continued... |
