BEWARE of The Hartford!!!! They don't care about seniors!!!!My father had a small claim for some apartment damage. Mind you, he's a senior and retired. Told him AFTER he pays his $500 deductible, and after they depreciate all his items, his payout would be......$517!!!! So, actually, it's $17!!! and was told if he bought items, they'd reimburse him!!!! WTF!!!This continued... |

It is what it is,if you don't like it go somewhere else.So many angry posts from consumers hell bent on venting their frustrations, I thought I would give you an insider tip and vent my frustration on consumers. Insurance is a business, they are in it to make a profit. Insurance companies differ from other products and services by being able to charge whatever continued... |

InsuredTheir annual increases are out of sight. If I didn't get discounts for wind mitigation, prior customer, no claims, vehicle coverage, etc, my homeowners insurance would be $500 higher. As it is, my insurance coverage is going up $350 for the year. That's a 25% increase over last year. Who is getting continued... |

Would never buy this insurancedenying claim based on lies that even the insured disputes. Employee Matt Neitzer and his supervisor nick Sheriff must be in some kind of cahoots because neither cares that Matt is making up multiple lies that both the insured and other driver both disagree with. BEWARE! continued... |

HomeownerStay away from this insurance company. They have the worst customer services EVER. To be specific: they are okay with us living in a house with no ac,electricity, or hot water when our house was hit by a tornado recently. Our claim rep (Nanette Dettmer) was the biggest "excuse my language" FEMALE continued... |

They refused to pay even though their insured is at faultThey spent five weeks "investigating" my claim after I was rear-ended, then told me to file with my own insurance. They told me they would pick up my car from the towing service, but did nothing until the towing service threatened to sell my car for scrap. Never return phone calls. continued... |

Hartford Insurance a CHEAP ASSI was rear ended by a person who was insured by Hartford. They took a long time to get an adjuster out to look over my car. On top of that, they would not want to pay more than 4 days worth of car rentals (maximum is $20 per day) although the body shop needed more than 4. This company try to nickel continued... |

disability InsuranceThe biggest rip off insurance company in the country. File a claim and they deny it even though 5 different doctors determine you classify as disabled. They base their determination on some little analyst with no medical background at all. continued... |
