Terrible experience, worst insurance company.I recently canceled my insurance policy with Hanover because the car I had covered was a lease and I was turning it back in. I wasn't purchasing another car at the time so I had no need for insurance. I called to cancel my policy at the appropriate time, during which the customer service rep mocked my not having a vehicle. I filled out the form I was sent to cancel coverage and returned it, yet Hanover proceeded to pull the next two payments from my bank account. I have been fighting the insurance company for a refund of the two payments (the amount they say I will be refunded changes each conversation) and am still waiting for a refund months later. I originally signed with Hanover as my insurance company because they offered the best deal but I would have paid more monthly to prevent the confusion and frustration I have dealt with for the past two months. I will never sign with this insurance company again and will be letting everyone know how terrible the customer service was.
