An expensive company to stay with, but with some perks

Plan: HSA Plan 80

Coinsurance after ded: 20%
Maximum Out-Of-Pocket ~ $3900

PROS:

- Never denied or even questioned a claim (I had several $1000+ claims, largest was $5,000 ER visit)

Beware: Golden Rule changes the rules mid-game

Despite the BS assertion in their blurb, Golden Rule plays games with drug Tiers all the time. Prescriptions that were $15 to $30 with Blue Cross (even generics!) are assigned to Tier 3 with a $60 copay PLUS deductible. They arbitrarily gave me a $350 drug deductible, when I met that, they increased continued...

For those seeking HIGH DEDUCTIBLE PLANS: beware! Golden Rule "PLAN 100" for FAMILY is a scam!

You will never be able to meet your deductible unless 2 of the members of your family pay the deductible at the same time (same year). For example: if you are severely injured and pay continued...
