Fortis Short Term Health Insurance

We signed up for Fortis Short Term Health Insurance coverage when we were between jobs in 2007. About a week after our "coverage" began my husband had sharp pains and went to the ER. He had kidney stones. He had not been sick prior to this nor had he been to a doctor for this before. Fortis did not pay a dime on our medical bills and this combined with my husband's job loss sent us into bankruptcy! Thanks Fortis!
