I have had no tickets or claims of any kind for over 10 years
On 12/25/2009 I went to the Foremost website to renew my motorcycle policy.
After logging in it said my premium was $50.00.
So I paid the premium using my visa card. Four (4) days later I get an email telling me that I owe another $25.00 (a 37% increase). I call my local Farmers agent and he tells me that yes the rate went up that much for
everyone.
I call a different Farmers / Foremost agent in town (Payson AZ) and ask for a bid and the girl tells me $55.00 for the same coverage that the other agent wanted $75.00.
So I call the original Farmers / Foremost agent up and tell him I want my visa card credited back the $50.00 that I was going to dispute the charge on my visa because their website only said my premium due was $50.00. That I
was not going to renew my policy with him.
I sent several emails to Foremost today 12/29/2009 and have not heard back yet.
Foremost's website is not up to date, and Foremost should post the correct policy renewal price on their website so peopole can decide if they want to, or not renew their policy!
I called VISA today and did dispute the charge. When Foremost accepted my payment they also accepted Visa's policy terms and conditions.
Stay away from a Farmers Foremost local agent and do not even try to use their website.
