Bad customer service! Underhanded cancellation fee!I had insurance with Foremost for possibly longer than i can remember. First problem was my Agent did not inform me that I was under covered since I am a Home Owner! He left me open to be a victim of a sue happy motorist. So I found an agent that cared enough to explain my needs and coverage and leave it up to me to decide where the risk should lie. The second problem I have is that since I cancelled my policy 2 days earlier than the term they snuck in a cancellation fee of $25. No one explained this and I also pay my insurance coverage weeks in advance and in full for 6 months of coverage, talk about a great customer! Then they have the nerve to send me letters threatening a collection agency to get their money. I emailed twice with no response, called and received a repeatitive read of a script over and over from a supervisor. They see where they caused the error but refuse to fix it and waive the cancellation fee that their representative caused. They blame me for cancelling 2 days early. I kept asking her why her rep did not explain that to me in teh first place. My new insurance would have started 2 daysa later, what do they think people are this ignorant? I refuse to pay this fee. I will not sit back and watch them collect peoples hard earned money for their faults and bad business. FYI they are also a division of Farmers Insurance, I will AVOID all of their Companies.
