Problems with Farmers

I was in an accident with another driver and the driver has Farmers Car Insurance. I was pulling out of the parking lot when, out of nowhere this driver comes along and swipes the front of my car. The driver didn't run off or anything and did the responsible thing by giving me the insurance information. But Farmers Car Insurance has been monstrous to deal with ever since! I have placed seven calls into the company to find out what was going on with my claim. Finally, I got management on the phone to find out if they were going to cover the damages to my car. They said they would be but that I would have to pay the mechanic first, send them the bill and they would reimburse me. Quite frankly, I was furious because I couldn't afford the out of pocket expense!
