FARMERS--WORST CLAIMS SERVICE & AGENT SERVICE EVER!!!

You may think the rates are cheaper so you switch to Farmers like my relatives did...do not fall for their cheaper rates. If you have a claim just like my uncle and aunt discovered, you will regret the switch. The saying is true..."You get what you pay for!" You pay cheap you get cheap service. My aunt had a simple claim where her veh slid into an electric pole due to icy conditions on a Tuesday. Her Lexus RX was totaled by Farmers. The local guy who inspected the vehicle on Thursday could not even give her a value on her car. Instead he sends her claim to some guy BRADEN OVERMAN in their Oklahoma office who does not even inspect the car, but is suppose to be able to determine the fair value on her car. We were given his number on Friday and we called him around 1 pm. He tells us he got the claim but cannot get to it today since he cannot work beyond his 40 hrs/wk. We were just appalled that he tells his customers this. We know he is on salary and not paid by the hour; that what salary means...you do your job no matter how long it takes to complete the job...that's why you're paid salary. This already foreshadowed how he was going to handle our claim. He said he will get the figure to us on Monday. But come Monday and no contact from him. We called him Monday afternoon and his excuse was that he was busy with another claim which took up his whole day so he still has not gotten to our claim yet, but will do so by the end of the day. No contact either by then. Again, no contact on Tuesday during business hours. Then he calls at 7 pm and leaves a message to call him back, making another excuse that he was in a meeting all day. By now we are completely frustrated, out of patience and he has lost all credibility with us. We called him back & of course he does not pick up so had to leave message. Wednesday morning is here and still no call back from him. Instead of calling, we emailed him so we can get everything documented and asked if he would prefer we work with his supervisor. He finally replies to our email. He has low balled us on the value and refuses to negotiate anything though we sent him our comparables as he requested. Quite a stickler for someone who has been avoiding his own policyholder's claim for over a week now. This claim has not settled yet...we have been VERY UNHAPPY so far. Tried getting the agent PACHIA LOR out of Appleton, WI to help but her English writing & speaking skills are so poor that she cannot communicate any of our concerns to her Claims Dept. She is very unprofessional; not knowledgeable. She has no integrity and losing credibility with us the more we get to know her. She does not call back like she said she would. She does not return calls and does not respond to emails. She does not answer our questions. NOTHING TIMELY AT ALL WITH FARMERS AGENT OR CLAIMS SERVICE. ***BOTTOM LINE...DO NOT BUY FROM FARMERS...CLAIMS SERVICES ARE POOR & AGENTS ARE USELESS!!!
