This insurance company is an absolute joke

I had to file a claim with this insurance company, as they covered the company that broke a $600 piece of glass while they were working here. The 1st time that I talked to the claims adjuster (Denis Armstrong), she was already argumentative and very defensive...saying that I probably couldn't 'prove' that their insured had actually broken the glass. So then, she came to my home to look at the glass, and to interrogate me, all of the while recording it. (It was exactly like a deposition). She wanted receipts, measurements, who I got the glass from, their names (so that she could depose them also), and was nothing short of being a total B (while in my home). She asked me personal financial information, did I owe any back taxes, did I have any judgements against me, have I ever filed bankruptcy, does my cat ever go into the basement (where the piece of glass was broken) are all of my bills and my mortgage paid up to date, and so many more insulting questions like that. All that I wanted was to get that piece of glass replaced. Of course, they totally denied the claim. I think that they would have been much more willing to spend $1000 investigating the claim, rather than just paying me a couple of hundred dollars to replace the glass (the price has come down on these pieces in the last few years). I didn't break the glass, but, I had to be investigated?? Screw this company...I'll add them to the list with State Farm (shame on them with all of that hurricane Katrina scandal)
