short term disability

My wife purchased disability insurance from her employer .She became ill and no one could give her a diagnosis .Thats when it all began she was told that since no one could diagnosis her they would not pay.After being of work for seven months with no income what so ever ,she was still denied payment of benefits.Even though she was carefully diag with lupus two months before her last rejection of disability benefits.Cigna insurance owes my wife approx. six thousand dollars and refuses to pay.Long story short its good to have insurance but good luck getting paid.
