Short Term Disability/ FMLAMy employer pays for this benefit, thank goodness it isn't my money because it is not worth it! I have been off work since 3/9/11 and have had to deal with CIGNA. Nothing happens with my claim unless I call them. At one time they had a "return to work" specialist send me a letter claiming she had tried to call me several times and was unable to leave me a message. That was BS because several calls to her giving her my correct phone number that has an answering machine were never returned. After contacting my employer and having my employer talk to CIGNA management my claim manager called me to apologize and assure me that the return to work specialist was dealt with. I didn't get another one.
