If you don't like Cigna you may need to get an education

First I want to say I have never had a problem with Cigna Healthcare. They are helpful and helped me a lot. Second, I want to education people about how health insurance works that is administered by an Employer. When people complain about something not covered you should go strait to your Employer. Why you ask? Because your Employer made your benefit plan Cigna is just following the rules that your Employer has told them. So if your Employer says I don't want you to cover a MRI unless it meets this criteria then Cigna will not do it. If your Employer says a certain procedure is not covered then it wont be. This is because your Employer is paying the part of your medical bills that you don't pay. So if a procedure is covered at 80% and you pay 20% guess who is paying the 80%? Your right your Employer. So when you complain about something not covered understand that in most cases Cigna is just following the rules your Employer has told Cigna to do!!
