Horrible

Cigna is criminal. Premium holders are treated like scum looking for a hand out. My husband has paid them for 18 years. He has 4 debilitating diseases and they cancelled his LTD after 6 short months without notifying him he was under review or giving us a courtesy phone call to say we would no longer recieve benefits. I have on youtube their case "manager" stating they look for weight loss to prove active Crohn's Disease. In any other business it would be considered criminal how they treat their customers. Even negligent. I could sue a doctor for the same abuse and lack of care. Avoid this company, they will only cause you more physical pain battling them for the disability you pay them in good faith. This company is disgusting. 5 specialist in 2 states agree that if my husband should return to work he will lose his limb from recurring Pyoderma Gangrenosum. Cigna's "nurse case manager" disagrees from 1200 miles away, so we are screwed. I would bet my life that she has never even treated this disease. She could not even spell it correctly. Now we have to hire a lawyer to fight them for an appeal. I hope the staff at Cigna rots.
