payments slow and difficult to get

I am a nurse waiting on payments (thru agency) for home care of a very frail customer of theirs. They don't want to pay and only pay a fraction of what they will pay an institution. That is sad, their customer is getting 24/7 personal care, better than an institution and could not hire me if she didn't have a little retirement income. She only has a few months of life left, and if it was not for me willing to care for her without adequate pay she would probably not be here. I am middle aged and should be buying LTC insurance, but would not buy CNA insurance.
