Long Term Care Insurance

My Mother paid over $20,000 in premiums and after multiple submissions and hundreds of pieces of documentation, received $3,500. She received home health care, nursing home care and residential Alzheimer's care. All documentation had to be submitted multiple times and the amount of documentation was very burdensome.

Avoid this long term care policy. Mom would have been much better off to have put her money in the bank instead of sending premiums to this company.
