CNA Long Term Care is Incompetent and Fails to honor their contractsI am taking care of this for mother 83 year old mother. Was told it would be approximately 14 days after filing of claim to get a determination. It has been over 4 months since a claim was filed. Approximately 30 days after filing called to find out that they were waiting on some additional information - no request for such information was ever made in writing, email or phone. Information was faxed immediately to the number provided. Two weeks later another call - no record of information being received - fax is centralized and gets scanned into record. Faxed information again - checked back in two weeks - did not have a record of the information. Talked to supervisor - told me additional information was required (no request again ever made) - gave me her direct fax number and information was faxed within 3 days of that call. Called approx. 30 days later - information that was faxed 30 days prior had been logged in 15 days after receipt and that review was to take 15 to 30 days. Previous supervisor said she would look into it and call me the next day. 5 days later she had not called and called to get her supervisor who said he would take care of it in 48-72 hours - this remains to be seen.
