CNA Long Term Care Reimbursement NightmareGetting CNA Long Term Care to pay my husband's bills is a nightmare. They ceased his waiver of premium benefit even though he had two unpaid bills. There is always a form missing or not filled out correctly as a reason for non-payment even though they are billed consistently every month. I spend many hours on the phone getting the run-around from CNA. Reimbursement is taking three months even though they say they process in 10-14 days. What they are really saying is that they will find a reason to deny it in 10-14 days. They refuse to contact the provider with billing issues. They send me a letter denying the benefit then I have to spend hours on the phone with CNA finding out why. Next I have to relate the information to the agency providing the bill. This is just another stall tactic. CNA is the most frustrating company I have ever dealt with and have been told they are so nasty because they know we are at their mercy!
