Another Example of Healthcare Issues in the US

PPO--expensive but worth it.

My experience with them, however, shows another issue with our healthcare system. I am one of the lucky ones who can afford this coverage (over $700 a month just for me.) The BCBS association actually functions as separate companies; BCBS of MI is covering me now, but BCBS of FL won't issue me a policy. I'd like to move to FL to be near my mom, but to keep my health insurance, I lose my freedom to choose where I live.
