Atlantis Health is a holding company, operated by health care professionals who live and work in New York State. Founded in 1995, Atlantis Health is a subsidiary of the Atlantis Health Plan. Atlantis Health is dedicated to providing quality, state of the art, affordable health care in and around New York City.

Because Atlantis Health was founded by health care professionals, it uses the experience, knowledge and skills of all its health care professionals each step of the way. Atlantis Health places great importance on the patient – doctor relationship when delivering quality service.

Atlantis Health has Medical Group sites in all of the five boroughs. At these centers, Atlantis Health members can receive primary care and have lab work done with no co-payment and no pre-authorization required. There are over 27,000 provider locations in the city for participating health care professionals.


Understanding the importance of easy access to quality health care, Atlantis Health makes it easy for its members to access the medical care they need, when they need it. With this in mind, Atlantis Health does not have any contribution requirements for any of its commercial coverage plans. There are also no requirements for any of its HMO products. In addition, Atlantis Health has recently upgraded it prescription benefit administrator to CatalystTX.

To help keep costs to members as low as possible, Atlantis Health now has health care coverage plans with $25/$49 split co-pays. Atlantis Health also offers “group of one” pricing for sole proprietors of companies and 1099’s.
