Don't Use Assurant

Horrible Company!

I would NEVER suggest that anyone use this company. I put up with Assurant for 1 year. During this time, I had a couple of dental claims and 1 visit to the OB-GYN. I can honestly tell you that NOT ONE claim was settled easily. Each time a claim was filed (for things that were covered,)- Assurant would send a letter to my doctor/dentist and say that I was not covered. They even told the doctor that I only had life/car insurance with them. I didn't have either of these! I only had health insurance.

Either this company is EXTREMELY disorganized or they flat-out lie to get away with not covering things they are supposed to. Its ridiculous. I would have been better to save my money and pay out of pocket. Only use this company if you are willing to dispute EVERY claim you file for months after your visit.
