I personally think some people aren't listening when there agent explains coverages They make you sign a form when you reject flood insurance and when something happens that is caused from an occurrence no insurance will cover it. Insurance is meant to put you back together after something happens not for people to profit now look at what you are actually paying for look at your limits bodily injury liability that covers others when you are at fault. Uninsured motorist covers you when someone hits you and they don't have insurance or enough insurance remember you cant have more uninsured motorist coverage then liability coverage. oh an remember if you caused a wreck and you don't have insurance the company (all companies)will come after you for money if they paid out because of your negligence. If its only between you and the other person you better believe that other person is coming after you. oh and don't forget when a hospital hears auto wreck they raise their rates for helping you and if a child dies that's automatically a million dollars on top of knowing you killed a child I don't feel like i am insured enough it only takes one time you are under the weather, or not up to par, tired from a long day of work, or partying all night. Think if you were the one to cause a wreck. and you are responsible. Did you know a lot of companies including amfam pay most of the money they bring in back out in claims. I think a lot of people that are mad are more mad because they are ignorant to how things work. If your ignorant go read a book or search the facts on insurance as a whole then look for a company you want or better yet find the agent you want. and come on people stop blaming others for your mistakes. I do admit some of these complaints sound like an agents bad not the company
