We had some hail and the adjuster, who my boyfriend had dealt with before and despised, was sent out. He low balled us on our claims, and we thought so, but beings we don't work at a body shop we didn't know how low he was. A lady later called us from amfam and asked if we were happy with the service on our claims and we said we thought he was low. She said get a quote from the body shop and they would make it right. Re washed all three vehicles and one by oned them to the body shop. Sure enough the adjuster was $1000 low on all the claims even with our deductibles. Submitted the quotes from the shop. They ended up being turned over to the same adjuster who low balled us in the first place and he said the quotes were just an opinion. I'm not sure what his estimate on the damage was then because I'm pretty sure he don't work in a body shop. Asked what opinion he wanted. He said I could take it to 100 different shops and they would give me 100 different opinions. Told him we would be switching to Farm Bureau, which premiums after some research are a lot lower, he said go ahead. We are paying 12,000+yrly on ins. alone to amfam. So who is a valued customer?
