I recently used the American Family road service cause my car would not start,I called the 800 number and they dispatched a service from Utah the next state over. I waited over an hour and when the service provider arrived he came with a pickup truck not a tow truck. Well he proceeded to hook up my battery from his truck,everything connected I turned the key to start my car and looking through the windshield I noticed the alternator was smoking so he decided to tell me that the alternator was bad. He said it was my fault but all I did was drive and park my car I called the company and a big investigation issued I'm still without a car while they decide who is at fault
