Refusal to take liability

I'm very surprised that AmFam is refusing to pay, because in their opinion it was my childs fault that a driver w/ no license hit him while he was walking along on the side walk. I find it hard to believe, not only am I paying full coverage for auto insurance & for un-insured motorist plus I have my home insured w/ them. When I initially called them as soon as the accident happened they re-confirmed that they would cover everything. Thanks for nothing AmFam
