Customer Review - American Family Insurance

Never been treated better!

I don't know if it's the company or just my agent, but American Family has me as a customer for life! I had a little incident and needed to have my car towed. I had no cash on me, and my credit card and checkbook was at home, but I had towing coverage on my policy. I called my agent, he called a tow company for me, and even drove to where I was broken down to wait with me. When the driver finally showed 90 minutes later, he said they couldn't bill the company and since I couldn't pay on the spot I was out of luck. My agent pulled out his checkbook and paid for it himself, and the company reimbursed him.

On the way to my house, the tow driver said he had been in business for over 20 years and had never had an agent show up at the scene before. He was so impressed, he called me two weeks later and said he had moved all his coverage to him too. All that, and I had only been his customer for 2 months, and I'm saving a TON of money over my last company!
