Unhappy home insurance customer

I have been a customer with Allstate for 20 years, never had a claim and then had roof damage due to a storm. I depended on the roofing company to deal with the Allstate adjuster. The roofing company told me I needed decking. Allstate stated it did not. The roofer told me they would work with Allstate to settle the difference of opinion on what was needed. Time went by and no results. I wne t with a different roofing company and then found Allstate had a time limit on claims. I was told due to the length of time that had gone by Allstate would not pay the depreciation on my roof so I was told Allstate would hold back $1500. and I would have to pay this amount. As a 20 year customer with no claims Allstate found a way to not provide coverage. I may be only one customer but will now dump Allstate for another insurance company. Sad to say after 20 years I found I WAS NOT in good hands with Allstate
