We had recently purchased a house, January of 07. The house was only a few years old, 5 to 7 years. High Winds and Torandos stuck middle Tennessee in March and blow most of the shingles off of our roof and caused the roof to leak damaging the ceiling. However Allstate would not pay to have the roof repaired, citing poor installation of the roof. The previous owers had not problems with leaking or shingles blowing off, clearly Allstate wouldn't pay for this repair because we had only been a policy holder for a few months. You can find a better insurance company.
