Aetna must hope that most people will be frustrated enough when seeking short term disability that they give up the will to live. They treat you as if this has nothing to do with your quality of life, which is further impacted in my case by having no income. Am I supposed to quit my job and collect welfare? Aetna cloaks all it's processes in mystery. All Aetna employees with a shred of decency should quit, for in my eyes working for your company is the moral equivalent of working for Madoff.
