Aetna is the most deceptive company I've ever dealt with concerning health care.

In June of 2010 they had some reps come to our office and explain the benefits of the health savings account (HSA) plan. I specifically asked about the coverage period for the deductible and was told since our enrollment period went from July to June that was also our deductible period. After paying through the nose for services from July through December we were told in January our deductible reset and we needed to meet the $4000.00 deductible again.

After I contacted them they told me they were sorry for the misunderstanding. I told them I didn't misunderstand and that I was lied to. That didn't matter to them or anyone else.
