Aetna sucks!

I too have Aetna thru my job and they have the worst work ethics I ever has the displeasure of dealing with. In Nov 2010 I went on a leave because of my back back. They ended up denying my Std claim so now as we speak, its in appeal. The medical examiner at Aetna refuses to speak with the staff at my chiropractor's office, only wanting to speak with with the doctor. The medical staff informs them that the doctor is in surgery on certain days and cannot speak with them. This has been going on since November and now as a result of this, there has been no resolution to my claim. Fast forward to April, I went on another leave for a different issue. Again my claim was denied. The whole three of my leave was not approved because my doctor did not receive the many faxes they claim to fax to my doctor. I had to cut my leave short. When I finally received a check, I missed almost a week of pay. I was told that Aetna finally approved my Std. Aetna submitted the paperwork to my employer indicating that I was back from my leave too late. Therefore it didn't get to payroll in time. I hate that my employer switched to Aetna.
