Customer Review - Aetna

Aetna just sucked money out of me, BROKE COLLEGE STUDENT

What can I say about Aetna, THAT IT SUCKS. I go to a university and it was required that we have insurance, if not from the school. Okay, I paid $800 through my first semester, only to find out that the whole time, I had the wrong insurance card, it wasn't even insurance it was a discount plan and the medical insurance I had actually bought was never sent. I talked to a representative, she said it was my fault for not calling. Excuse me, but NO PHONE NUMBER IS LISTED ON THE WEBSITE. I called someone, who gave ma another number, who gave another, who gave me another. When I finally reached the right person, I spoke to the supervisor who also said it was MY fault and that she can't help me. I told her "so I paid for nothing" and she said "yeah, you have been active since August." So basically, yeah I paid for their benefits, not for the benefits of us, the clients. AETNA just stole money that could have gone towards my college tuition. VERY DISSATISFIED!
