Stay away from AAA

I received a call from AAA offering a great package deal; home owners and car insurance in the same quote. I am a AAA member and I did get an excellent deal on the home owners portion saving about 900 per year. On the car insurance my rate went up about 150 for both cars for 1 year (Gei*o before).

1 month later I was rear ended, I called AAA and submitted a claim, days went by and no one from AAA called me. I called again and there was no record of my claim or call, I re-filed the claim, 2 weeks go back I call and again no record of my call or claim.

Payment is a nightmare, they provide no online services of any kind, I submitted my first couple payments using my bill pay at my bank but AAA started charging me a fee for the payments. I then called in the next 2 payments to their office and payed with my debit card. Last night I received a very rude call from AAA telling me they have not received payments in 3 months. Just like my claims before there was no record of the payments I made on the phone.

I am tired of dealing with this company , everyone I have spoken to is extremely rude and not helpful. I complaint about their systems because every time I call I am put on hold for long time and every time I am told is becasue their system is slow. Their response is very harsh "we have the best money can buy" yet they can't keep up with claims or payments and offer no online services.

If you are wise, AAA insurance is crap and you stay away.
