Personal Injury, watch out, they won't pay your medical in fullI am a massage licensed massage therapist in Hawaii, a no fault state. I have a client who was in an auto accident, clearly not her fault & injured. The client was receiving massages for her injuries from me & I was being paid. Then with no warning AAA stopped paying, will not answer their phones, no contact (delay strategy) & finally sends a letter deny me payment for my services rendered claiming the client is not getting better based on a review by their own hired doctor. AAA's doctor has never seen my client. AAA's doctor claims he hasn't seen any medical notes from my clients doctor. Yet he claims he can know my client doesn't need any further treatment. I am being forced to spend a lot of time & trouble trying to get my money for my services rendered on a client who needs help in recovering from injuries. My client has 10,000 on her no fault. Only about 1/2 of that has been used in treatment for her injuries between myself & her MD & her chiropractor. Now because AAA won't pay for their insureds recovery my client is going untreated for months as we wait our turn for court, etc. I am now seriously questioning whether I should consider dropping AAA because I am also insured with them & maybe I will get the same treatment if I am in an accident. They do not answer their phones very easily in the claims department. They do not return your calls & this is BEFORE you havbe a problem with them.
