I think I have the story to top all stories

I was injured when I was rear ended by an uninsured driver in 2007. After recovering fully from my injury, I put in a claim to cover my medical bills and my lost wages; minimum money by AAA standards. After closing my case with AAA, they stalled making a decision for more than 5 months. Finally, AAA made me an offer that doesn’t cover my medical bills let alone my lost wages. If I accept their offer, I’m out almost $5k for something I was not responsible for. To top it all off, they paid another doctor to write a report in which they call me a liar and also accuse me of fraud. Because of their incompetence, I now need to go to arbitration to see if I can get all of my medical / lost wages covered. That's opened another can of worms. Now they are asking for a bunch of documentation even items that don't pertain to the case; i.e. my personnel file including my performance evaluations. WTF? I am the victim not the criminal. I wonder how these people sleep at night. I can't wait to terminate my insurance with them.

I always hated paying AAA rates but always felt that if I had something like this happen, I would be covered. I was so WRONG. It’s been a hard lesson to learn but I’ve learned it. Once this is done, I'm done with them and am telling everyone that will listen to me the horrible treatment I received from them.

Worst part is, I can't even sue the guy who hit me after I settle with AAA to cover my losses (if any) because if I win (which I will), I have to pay AAA back since they settled with me. WTF????
