Prior to joining 21st Century, success story begins with its founder Louis W. Foster.in February 2000, Mr. Marlow was employed by Allstate Corporation, since 1999, as Senior Vice President and President of its Independent Agency Markets subsidiary. Before retiring for three years, he served Progressive Corporation from 1978-96, holding various positions including Chief Operating Officer from 1988-1996.


Richard A. Andre - Senior Vice President, Human Resources, 21st Century

Before joining 21st Century in 1988, Mr. Andre was with Fidelity National Title Insurance Company. Prior to that time, he was with Safeco Corporation where he held a variety of positions including Vice President of Personnel for Safeco Title Insurance Company.

Michael J. Cassanego - Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, 21st Century

Mr. Cassanego joined 21st Century in March 1999. He previously was Vice President and Deputy General Counsel for Fremont Compensation Insurance Group, which he joined upon Fremont's acquisition of Industrial Indemnity Company in 1997. Mr. Cassanego was employed for 21 years with Industrial Indemnity Company, serving in several positions including Senior Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel.

Steve Erwin - Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, 21st Century

Mr. Erwin joined 21st Century in May of 2006. He previously was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Health Net, Inc., a Fortune 200 managed care company, and U.S. Bancorp, a Fortune 500 super-regional bank holding company. Mr. Erwin has over 30 years of executive and senior management experience in the finance function and has held several positions including Senior Vice President and Treasurer. Mr. Erwin began his finance career on the audit staff at Coopers & Lybrand.

Michael Ray - Senior Vice President, Customer Processes, 21st Century

Mr. Ray joined 21st Century in June of 2005 and is responsible for customer care, new business processes and IT. Michael grew up in New Orleans, Louisiana and graduated from Tulane University with a major in mathematics and a minor in computer science. He has an MBA from Harvard University. Early in his career he worked for insurance broker Marsh & McLennan and Progressive Insurance, before beginning 19 years with American Bankers (now Assurant) Insurance in Miami, Florida.

Dean E. Stark - Senior Vice President Claims, 21st Century

Mr. Stark joined 21st Century in 1979, serving in numerous claim positions including Vice President. He has over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry.
